Business Development at the Southsea Beach Cafe

I was lucky enough to take a couple of hours off last Friday. Our 'go to' place is the Southsea Beach Cafe. If you haven't been there and live in Portsmouth or are visiting Portsmouth, it's a must - we felt like we were aboard, it was bliss.
I was talking to my best friend about the fact I spend every waking hour either looking after my beautiful young children or working for my clients (amongst other things!). And I wondered how common that was, to put all the tasks that need doing for your own business to the bottom of the priority list. If Heard About Sam was my client, what would I say to them as their Business Development Consultant?
We went on to discuss all my success stories in #BusinessDevelopment over the years and how I don't use these examples across my social media channels to help support other businesses.

From September, I will look to do this more regularly, if there are any areas of Business Development you are keen to explore then please do ask me as, what comes very naturally to me doesn't to others and I am motivated to help you.
#HeardAboutSam

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
