Originally from Portsmouth, in 2013 I decided to move back home after seven fantastic years in London. My partner and I made plans to get married, buy a house and have babies - exciting times!

I was lucky enough to take a couple of hours off last Friday. Our 'go to' place is the Southsea Beach Cafe. If you haven't been there and live in Portsmouth or are visiting Portsmouth, it's a must - we felt like we were aboard, it was bliss.

I have always worked in event sales, feeling the pressure weekly and working towards monthly targets. Combined with personal responsibilities and commitments, I haven't ever found the time to volunteer.

In January 2019, I was lucky enough to work in collaboration with a local event management company on the Waitrose and Partners Supplier and Farming Conference, which took place at The Vox Birmingham.

Back in May I met one of my old clients, who is a huge influencer in Southampton. We talked about everything up and coming across the South Coast and new projects launching in 2020 over a gorgeous lunch.
